Who is this old time looking cowboy dude? Leonard Franklin Slye (born Nov 5th 1911), famously known as Roy Rogers, he is the epitome of the American cowboy actor. One of the first stars of that new entertainment format - Television - his 'Roy Rogers' show was one of the most popular of the decade, running from 1951 to 1957. With over 100 (yes... one friggin hundred) movies to his name too, Roy became known as 'King of the Cowboys'.
